Le Sirop de la rue
Jiem was born in 1981 in Nantes, France. As a teenager, he discovers graffiti and devotes himself to it. He travels in Europe, moves several times in France: Rennes, Paris, Lille, meeting more and more people who share his love for cities and graffiti. Gradually, he starts to draw and to paint also on canvas, wood or paper. Fond of popular painting, he develops an illustrative and oneiric style.
Having made a lot of encounters and artistic collaborations through France and Europe, he moves to Montréal in june 2010 to explore another continent and to start new projects.
